MINERAL COLLECTION

QUARTZ TWIN

Maca of transparent quartz known as "rock crystals".
Euhedral crystals of quartz in which stands out the central quartz with Dauphiné habit and an average diameter of 5.4 centimeters, in it we can clearly observe the growth striations perpendicular to the longest zone of the crystal.

WATER GAIN

Blue euhedral aragonite crystals that form structures known in the emerald industry as "water gangue" or stalactites, their blue color is due to trace contents of the chemical element Vanadium.

Ganga with Emerald and Fluorapatite

Lodolite rich in organic matter with planoparallel stratification accompanied by a vein fragment composed of subhedral pyrites, euhedral hexagonal emerald cannules, pink euhedral fluorapatites and euhedral quartz.

The rarity of this piece lies in the presence of the mineral fluorapatite together with the emerald, which makes it a piece worthy of being part of our main collection.

Quartz and fluorite druse

Druse composed of euhedral quartz with inclusions of iron oxides that give it a faint reddish coloration, and cubic euhedral crystals of green fluorite.

Hydraulic Gap Ganga

Hydraulic breccia composed of angular clasts of mudstone with planoparallel stratification in subhedral calcite crystals, subhedral quartz, iron oxides and an euhedral crystal of beryl of emerald variety of high gemological quality.

Zambian Pegmatite rock gangue

Pegamatite gangue from Zambia composed of more than 20 euhedral emerald crystals, subhedral quartz and black euhedral phlogopite.
